Indeed it has been a while...

Hi all!

Hope you're doing well...and i sure am ready for my next semester which will commence in February

I missed blogging...

The reason for the hiatus was: EXAM! wat a terrible experience! ahaha it was! studied for 2 whole weeks and after u sat down for the exams...hmmm suffice to say that i was frustrated..disappointed...so much was done and sacrificed but it wasn't enough! always tried the best..BUT it wasnt the best! Memorized everything..but none came out! slept with my eyes open and still it wasnt enough!....so..it was frustrating!...really..i cant say enough of how frustrating i felt after each papers that i sat for...if i didnt study..it would be another matter..i wouldnt even care...but i studied so hard!!! (please bear with me as i ramble on with my exams)

well enough said (actually not really) about my exams (i just wanna forget the horrendous experience)..okay..now back to where i left you all.

First of all..i would like to say Happy Birthday to my bro Afnan (back in Brunei) and my best friend Fazrina (in Manchester) who celebrated their birthdays on the same day (26th January -and in 4 months i will be 23!! so housemates and those who loves me..get me sumthing please...these four months will be full of hints of what i want)! YEAY! Happy Birthday! and of course wishing many good things ahead of you guys! :P

Today -27th January, our first free day after a 3 week of rigorous-and-nerve-wrecking-experience-of-studying-and-pitting-our-brain-cells-
against-our-notes, we sent Fish to the tram station (yeah. tram not train) because she's going to Kent..to visit her cousins and a few friends studying there. and by WE i meant, me and Lei..eheh the rest sent her off till the door...due to unforeseen reasons (wink-wink to mizah and yawn-yawn to azmi).

after that i went to the post office to send my mum the scarves i bought from tie rack in London...i've been wanting to send her right after new year but i just havent got the time and i was busy with studying (yea...excuses excuses and more excuses...ehhe)

went back home...oh yeah! the door to our house was replaced and it looked nice! it's white and i think it gave a certain feel to it...haha i dont know wat the feeling is but it's just there! ahhaha ask my housemates..maybe they know wat this feeling is.. ;)

After loitering around the living room, i decided to take a shower and after shower...i think i went to the kitchen and Lei was offering to cook Maggi Mee for us.. - mizah, me and mai (mai - is one of my housemates too...the reason she didnt appear in my previous blogs was that she went back to Brunei for her winter hols...lucky her hehehe now she's back..well the house is complete again! yeay)..and i think mai was cooking with lei in the kitchen too...oh yeah...rush went to get her laptop fixed during this whole cooking and eating episode(her windows CRASHED!..but its fixed and for free!!..NO POK NO POK!) hahhaha and azmi was still in dream lands :)

after that i kinda went to my room and watched some animes and got bored! ahhaha and then i went downstairs and had a chat with mizah and lei who were in the living room. and Rush came home...we stayed there until quite late...chatting with each other and watched movies - Just friends and Empire Records and Anastacia..after that we cooked instant mee and ate in the living room...with azmi, mai and zyden...(zyden is a junior..who stays over occasionally)...and watched Dave Chapelle's show..eheh :)

-current time, 12.10am..28th January...background sound..me typing the blog...azmi and lei laughing in lei's room watching sumthing obviously funny on Youtube-hahahahahahahHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

okay guys...its all i have for now..but doubt not..i will write soon and the hiatus its quite over..ehehhe its good to be back and azmi just went down the stairs.....swooooosh...and suddenly everything is quiet..advertised my blog to an old fren from my highschool years..nazmi! ahahah a will-be pilot...so im hoping if i can get discounts on plane tickets! ahhaha

anyways...i gotta go..its late..and i wanna sleep!

Sunday!

Monday! - the day after sunday...the day before tuesday

Sunday! - im raking up the pieces of my jumbled mind to recall what i did on sunday. Definitely, i slept quite late again..6.00am (practically i slept on monday morning hahaha)...I was busy studying or did i? hmm now i remembered..i didnt study til quite late at night. hehehe our landlord treated us with 4 12" pizzas - oh yea...i think our landlord came giving us the pizzas at around 9.00pm. Most of us were hungry before that (and i was starving to death!!!!)..

Before dinner, me and mizah were served with 'indo mee sup' (instant noodle with soup, hehehe) courtesy of azmi! bless that dude for feeding us! ahhaha

after dinner (hmmm i didnt know i was doing the before & after)..and yea after dinner, as usual we cleaned up and went to our own rooms...well the girls went into their own rooms and around after midnite they rendezvoused (is this the correct past tense? or there is no past tense of rendezvous) in fish's room...singing to a famous boyband! hahaha on youtube... ;) if you knew what i knew!

before that...(i have to stop doing this before and after thingy)...mizah gave me a pretty good back cracking (you see, she was taught to crack people's back! ehhehe and it was reallly superliciously gooooood) - which i shamelessly asked from her...but i swear! she's the best back-cracker!

hmmm and then after the girls were satisfied with their vocal exercises, they gracefully went to sleep around 3am.. ;) *sigh* rush, miz, fish...the house would be soooOOSOOOsoosooo quiet without any of u.. :)

...hmmm i guess i've written long enough..but then i've only written a part of Sunday..and i havent even touched what happened on monday!..ehehe there were a lot of superheroes..villains...victims...and allota sweet laughter! basically monday was a good day!

Avec moi

Trying to commit myself to write this blog (thus keeping my memories etched in the cyberspace) is not an easy task. Some people would think otherwise. but hey! people are entitled to their own opinion.

It might be an easy task, to write what's in my mind...its the commitment that i've pledged to myself to keep this blog alive with my memories of my dear friends - what we did..what we said..what we went through - that kept me thinking that its really difficult and a task that's not to be taken ever so lightly.

however, i will try my best to keep it as accurate as possible. no doubt there were 'some' embellishments (like what we did with the oranges OR the sink)..and most were funny (and some might think they're lame).

Nevertheless, these are my sacred treasure that will remind me of the past. my past...

after all, its the past that makes someone who they are now. It is now that matters most to be able to enjoy then...

Previously...oranges were eaten...sink was given an extra special attention to...windows were used to look out from...chiken dances were performed! and so many extraordinary events took place! splendid isnt it? yeah...i think so...

okay! for the gazillionth time LEI is saying

"when you say something like that, it just means you're hungry"

yesterday, we had an early dinner! hehehe and mizah and fish were cooking (hehe the cornbeef was nice, brussels sprouts and carrots were yummy!, and the potatoes were great! ", )..and a HOT debate followed during dinner <-- regarding the amount of rice cooked hehehe - no rice was hurt during the process!

and afterwards we proceeded to talking about FIRESTARTERS, Angelina Jolie-lipped baby, drama queen and Waterboy ehhehe its sumthing to do with childhood time ehehhe...

afterwards? well we kinda cleaned up and go back to our robot mode! studying for what seemed like a long long long long long ....err eternity?...actually i caved in..i couldnt take any more facts about budgeting...or control or planning or ...errrkkk...

so i decided to take a break and rest my brain for a while..slept for two hours..and then continued fooling around in my room..with two extra guests...the usual crowd! eheh the depraved young men from yonder! ahahha just kidding..they slept at 4 am + and i couldnt sleep till 6-6.30ish in the morning..so yeah...(no improper actions took place hehehhe)

okay..i gotta go now..enough blogging for today! oh yeah..thanks to mizah for cooking a splendid rice-porridge for breakfast! eheh yummy! hehehe

Looking out of the window...

Im now taking a brief break from studying..so far studying is the only thing that keeps me busy :P

Azmi told me that the view from my window is great!...yea i have to admit it, i love the view of Sheffield from my window..in a clear and not so foggy days im able to see as far as my sight can see..beyond Havelock Street :)...at nights - the darkness will be accompanied with thousands of lights...it's just amazing...and calming..

Our landlord was around for three (or was it four days?), he was here - painting the house over..Rush got a pretty yellow room...:) Miz and Fish had their rooms painted over with cream coloured paint...hehehe

and the rest of our rooms were also painted...well the guys' rooms were not painted but our doors/door frames and skirtings were painted...ehehhe the landlord called our house the chocolate house..since all of our doors/door frames and skirtings were painted brown...dark brown..even the heater in the living room were painted brown! ahhaaha

Last night during dinner...or was it after dinner...Hmmm?

After dinner!...we forced Azmi to eat oranges..eheh you see...azmi doesnt like oranges or many other types of fruits..so we nailed him to the walls..forced fed him with dozens of oranges! ehhee hmmm not really..we just begged him to eat oranges! but in the end...me, mizah, rush and lei finished it! ahhaha ORRRRANGESSSS!!

hmm no oranges were hurt in the process..however azmi DID pay an extra special attention to the sink last night.. ;)

slept at 4.30am this morning...ehhehe why? because i felt guilty! my day yesterday was quite unproductive..so i compensated it with studying til in the wee hours of morning... :) really! i need to study!

hmmm...looking out of the window! its really windy...ehhehe

Chiken dance anyone?

These two crazeee dudes were hanging out in my room till late and made me do the chicken dance with them!..ehehe not really (the chicken dance was just my brain malfunctioning) they were just taking a break from studying and so was I (but this sounds boring!)..ehehhe and now its 1.30am..

Im sure my brain will function 'til im finished writing this post..will it?

well here ya go!

Im almost finished with one module and there are two more modules to go! and my exam will commence in less than TWO weeks!!!


Today, i spent the whole day at home..most of it just wasting time..and thinking of food! ehehe...dinner was as usual...GREAT...eheheh dinner is always great! no matter what kind of food was served...you wanna know why?

BECAUSE! well we cooked it! ehhehe and its prepared by either me, lei, rush, and/or mizah, fish and/or azmi...ehehe sometimes all of us cooked till the kitchen gets smaller... :) the food is great but the bonding between all of us is even greater! Gonna miss it once we go our separate ways.. :(


but yeah...good things are better off in memories... :) but even better if it lasts forever..right?


Talking about memories...2006 was such a busy and hectic year for me! hehe and now 2007 promises a great deal of hardwork from my part as well...im....errkkk


im feeling that my brain is not gonna function soon...so i guess i better leave now.. :) dont worry.. if time permits i'll see you guys again tomoro..no promises tho!

Change is necessary...YES? NO?

Wrapped up in a coccoon, one will found out that the world is not going to change by that much...

Okay now...why did i have to write about a coccoon? I dont know! Really...

But i guess i just wanna talk about change...change is very difficult! yes..its not easy...especially when it happens to ourselves..Until it happens to US! Embracing change may wreak havoc in a peaceful country...I like changes...but i dont like it to happen abruptly.

I like changes..if i'm given enough amount of time to digest the fact that something's gonna change..

I like changes - if i'm armed with the knowledge, prepared to embrace the change that's gonna occur to me..IF..

what if the 'if scenarios' happened otherwise? I would be angry..i would be resentful..and in time i would be grateful...only if its for the better.

I like changes - I dont like changes... :)

well?? I dont think i wanna talk about changes anymore...can i not talk about it? of course i can...ehhehe

so changes (i swear, this is the last time im gonna talk about changes)...yea...there's this quote that has become my favourite (since '99..ish) and i got it written in a box. A gift from my dear frens...u know who u guys are! :)

so i finally got to study...spend a few hours in the library today! hahaha Well, before i went St. George's library, i took a detour to the bank to withdraw some money...


then bought Azmi his stuff in Boots...then passed the post office, passed some random dude who asked us (Me and Lei) " 'Cuse me, do you know where the post office is?" <--something like that. ehhehe i couldnt remember exactly what he said..after pointing out the post office is just less than 56.2 seconds (56.2 seconds seems like a good number!) away. After that Lei and I went to the library...found the library almost full! and found separate seats.. and our study commences! ehhehe Well...an hour passed by...then i realised i forgot to do something! eheheh nothing big...i found out that i forgot to bring my assignment which i was supposed to give it back to the enquiry office...but it wasnt that! i realised that i forgot to pay the house's water bill at the post office! and i PASSED the POST OFFICE!! hahahhaa maybe that random dude was trying to remind me that i was supposed to pay the bill! HAHAhah signs!!

well...i went to pay the bill...

and got back to library and spent a few more hours studying..nothing big happened..went home with Lei..and ate dinner with Fish, Mizah and Azmi...and we all finished two tubs of ice cream! this is because our fridge is broken and we HAD to eat the ice cream... :) they'll only go to waste and melt...so we ate it...and we live happily ever after!

You have problems with me?

The problem with problems is that people usually try to find the answer to these problems straight away...including me

some people are just more thoughtful than that...sometimes we need to take a step backward and try to find the cause of these problems, find out the root of the problem. Then we can decide how to find the solution to it or we can just simply let other people solve it for us..

Some people need others to be there with them to solve their problems..some prefer to do it alone - trying to not burden others

Some wont accept they have problems..some wish they have problems (Wat?!!!...do these kind of people even exist?????) and some just seem to attract problems whenever and wherever they are! (tough luck you're having there!) ahhaha

well..why am I talking about problems? ahaha i dont know myself..its just something that oozed out of my brain at the moment...(*slimy sound effect*)

*i can imagine my housemates saying* "Ewww! hahaha Gross!" <- to the slimy oozing thing that comes out of my brain...

Hahhaha seriously! okay..its just that problems are unavoidable (true or not? someone research this please) and we just need to be ready to handle it..whichever way we want...Different people Different approaches...


Today...as planned by me..im supposed to read a few weeks of lecture notes and finish them..but instead, i lounged in front of my laptop, sitting on my ugly and most uncomfortable blue office chair, watching HEROES (Fish, errrr...u watched this too!) ahhaha and i cant wait for the next season!

and im actually envious of my other housemates who ACTUALLY are glued (NOPE SUPERGLUED!!) to their schedule and STUDY! arghghg (im gonna get YOU! Lei and Azmi...ahahha *evil laughter*)...and also im happy to see Mizah happy again! and im pretty sure its refreshing to enter Rush's newly painted room...and to our lovely lovely lovely landlord...erghgh i take that back..ehhe

haha those names are brought to you by my housemates...ahha (psst..its actually their names...HAhHHAHAH) hmm since i told ya'all their names..now i hafta kill ya'all! *poof* bang bang! bang! (now im being childish!)

ahaha just kidding so...back to where im supposed to study..or is it back to the problem part? im not so sure anymore..

a n y w a y...well i think i gotta go now...before someone knocks me over and hang me upside down...ehhe just kidding..
