The next set of picture is my post haircut photos...ehhe i cut my hair because..it was kinda getting long..and it's HOT..so one day i just decided to cut it...I miss my long hair...but hair grows so i can grow it back once i am back in the UK...(note: my face looks chubbier in this haircut ahahah)

Tooth, cakes and chicken pt. 1

It was an ordinary day, with an extraordinary me…in fact I’m gonna change it to a beautiful day with extraordinary me..ahahah. Today, as usual (eheheh) I woke up at 6 o’clock in the morning.

Why?

It was because my dad for almost everyday came into my room and woke up my baby brother (who is six by the way) for school…in the process of waking my baby brother, me being the light sleeper tend to easily wake up…(note: my baby bro usually slept with my parents but since I’m back from the UK, he’s been sleeping in my room, he and I are very close and I tend to spoil him hehe :D)

After an early and grumpy start I immediately took my shower and get ready to see the dentist…after dropping my lil’ bro to his school and my other-not-so-little-anymore brother to his school, my parents drove me to the dental clinic with me. Waited for I don’t really care how long..ahahha…I was too busy thinking of what the outcome of the meeting will be…when the nurse cried out my name and I went confidently into the Surgery 1 room and was asked to sit in the special chair where patients with tooth what-so-ever problem sit (heheheh…), I was then surprised to see my DAD entered the room and stood by me! Ehehhe well I was okay with it…but I’m 23 and I think I can handle the pressure alone heheh…later on I asked my dad why did he come with me…he said “Just to see what’s happening and to listen to what the dentist has to say about my condition (tooth)” eheheh alright it’s a perfect reason i guess…and i’m perfectly okay with it…

The dentist after looking at my x-ray film was very business like…no small chat before she checked my tooth…she asked me to open my mouth and poked out with the pointy metal thingy that dentists use to poke around their patients’ mouths ehhehe…then she said “Your wisdom teeth have to be extracted today…the one on the right I will extract it today..and after a week I want you to come back to have the left upper one extracted as well”…just like that…well the dialog was made up by me..but she did say things along those lines..ehehe

She then ordered her assistants to prepare tooth extracting tools and she gave me local anaesthetic (two injections around my upper right wisdom tooth), the injections weren’t so painful, the first shot I didn’t really feel anything and the second one i felt some needle like sensation but that was it (my father on the other hand, who witnessed the local anaesthetic administered to me was cringing a lil’ bit eheheh…

After that the dentist told me to wait outside for ten minutes. I went outside, waited around and being curious about the injections poked around the area with my tongue ehehhe the result…it was numb, i cant feel anything aside from numb sensation and my the tip of tongue felt numb too…i guess some of the injection fluid come out and affected the tip of the tongue ehehhe.

After ten minutes of waiting…i went to the surgery room and insisted that my dad should not come along…hehehhe sat in the same chair…she used her tool and like a mechanic using pliers began to extract my perfect (ehehe) white (AHHAHAHA) wisdom tooth. As warned by the dentist, they were a LOT of pressure in the extraction and my mouth felt like it was going to rip apart! Eheheh…after the extraction was complete, the dentist told me what will happen and told me it’s normal for a 17 & 18 year old like me to have my lower wisdom teeth to come out late…and sometimes it could take years…I was surprised not by the information but about her telling me that I’m a 17 & 18 year old teenager ehhe..I FELT SO YOUNG THEN…but then i politely corrected her (my mouth was then stuffed with wire gauze to stop the bleeding) and told her that I’m 23..eheheh maybe the fact that earlier my dad came with me and I looked so young made the dentist assumed that I am 17 or 18..ehehhe again visiting the dentist give me a good mood eventhough i have a bleeding hole in my gum where my tooth used to be (oh…i have the tooth, the dentist let me keep it!)

Then my mum and dad went to have their breakfast (i couldn’t have any since the dentist said that I will not be able to eat anything until the bleeding subsides) ahahha I WAS SO HUNGRY! And i begin to feel dizzy…after breakfast at some restaurant…my dad send my mum to work and then we went back home. I didn’t care much to watch tv or do anything else so i just ate the painkiller i was given and slept till afternoon. I woke up around 1.30p.m and still i wasn’t feeling that good to eat…so i kinda lounge around the tv area and watch Ratatouille with my lil’ bro and then halfway i felt like i wanna sleep again just to numb the pain…

I woke up at around 5.00p.m to a phone call. It was my best friend Vi who called….

Wanna know about that call? Well…i’ll let you know in the next post..it’s quite late already and i need my rest..ahhaha

An offline blogging…

Hi! Hi all…let it be known that the time of writing of this post is Friday, 24^th August 2007, 11.56pm..ehhee wow it sounds official.

What does offline blogging me…and what do I mean by it? Ehehe…it’s an easy question! Well, easy enough for me, because I am the one who thought of it. Hahah

The answer?. Well, it’s simple enough, it’s a post (hmm…this post!) that i write offline, not while i am online…when I’m OFFLINE! Get it? Ehehe Why? Because I have so many ideas and sometimes i just ran it over my head and without immortalising it in my precious blog (I don’t really mind whether I have readers or not, it’s because I kinda like the idea of having my thoughts swimming across the vast sea of world wide web waiting to be read by complete strangers!...that’s the hype I’m looking for…) hehe

Well, why am i offline? I only have broadband wireless access in my house in the UK, but not in my permanent house in Brunei. So the difference between both houses is that…in the UK i have 24/7 access of the broadband wireless service, in Brunei I don’t…it’s either i buy a $10 pre-paid internet access card for me to get connected for around 5-6hours (which is a short time…but quite enough) OR go to any cafes or restaurants in Brunei which offer free wireless access (provided that we buy some food) to go online. Well, the only place I prefer to go online is the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaves in Gadong…occasionally the one in Bandar Seri Begawan. It’s great…i can drink coffee and have a slice of cake (depends on my mood) and i can go online for hours…well maximum 6 hours (if i’m that jobless!..ehehe).

Why don’t I get/subscribe a wireless broadband service? Hmmm well before I went to UK i am student…and I am still a student…i can’t afford to have it YET!…and i don’t wanna ask my parents B$98 per month to pay for the subscription either…they’ve got other stuff to pay for eheheh…The only reason i can afford a broadband wireless bla bla bla access in the UK is because my housemates and i share the price (around 30-40 pounds per month) we divide the cost..and the cost ain’t that expensive anymore! Hehhe..But after i graduate which is next year..around July..(Amin!!!)…i will have the financial means to subscribe to broadband connection myself without resorting to ask my parents to pay for it..ahahah

And basically that’s the story why i wanted to start writing my post offline…so when i have the time and leisure..i just upload all of them together! Eheheh it’s kinda fun!...

Today…apart from the first halve that I wrote in the previous post is yet to be documented! Eheheh I mean to be put on this blog.

I think I remembered I left it about my decision where to have my high tea meal, well after spending around 2 hours in Coffee bean....i started to get bored, so i packed up my laptop and put it in my car which was parked in the basement parking of the mall. :D ehehe after that i kinda want to walk around a bit…and went to the mall…walked around, bought 200 hundred pounds beauty dvd – a Korean movie..ehehe it was good!..ahahha browse through some of the shops…found nothing of interest…walked a bit more then i kinda got bored of it..and my legs were starting to get tired from all the walking ehhe..so i decided to go to Coffezone…another café which is located in Gadong as well, I rested there for a half an hour (I guess! Ehehe)…There I ordered watermelon juice and chicken sandwich which had an Italian name..i forgot what its called since i just pointed at the waitress that i wanted that sandwich ehhehe..i have its picture though..eheh

and here i would like to tell you that, unlike the one in Ahan thai, a restaurant i mentioned in the post before last post, the watermelon juice cost me around B$4.20…it was definitely a small sized glass ehehe compared to the normal sized but super huge glass of the same juice i ordered at Ahan thai and cost me only B$2 eheheh…

Well to continue from there, after gulping down the juice and munching the sandwich, i kinda texted a few friends (whom i promised to go out with) to come and join me for dinner. But unfortunately none of the ones that i texted were able to come…so i decided to go home and have dinner at home.

But…it doesn’t end there! Ehehe i didn’t go home! I went to have some sushi for dinner! Ehehe it wasn’t fun eating sushi alone..but who cares i was craving it like a pregnant whale! Ahaha and for all i know….i don’t know how it feels or the cravings of a pregnant whale..eheh i had a few dishes of sushi – there were Mini California Maki Special, Ebi sushi, Salmon Roe sushi, Salmon maki and Tama Unagi roll…i had those and i was full and a pot of Japanese green tea. And don’t forget the wasabi and soy sauce! Ehehhe but too bad i didn’t take any pictures of it..because i was too conscious about taking picture ehehe partly because i was alone and i felt that the waitresses might think i am a loner who is so pathetic that i took pictures of my food! Ahahha

Then…after paying B$15.00 for the sushi I was ready for home…but then i was thinking (when did i ever not think!) eheh what did family have for dinner…so i went to Ahan thai (which is across the sushi place) and ordered three fried noodles to take-away…one seafood and the other two sets chicken. While waiting, i went to buy the Ratatouille dvd and an Indonesian compilation CD…then i paid B$12 for the fried noodles and zoomed home! And it was raining…ehehhe

I guess that’s the extent of this first offline post…heheh my fingers are tired and i gotta wake up early tomorrow to go to the dentist and hand in my x-ray..ehehhe

again..i have no idea of what title to put...hence the title for today is just another random thing word that pops out my brilliant brain...(notice the heavy self-bragging..hehehe this shows that i am in a good mood)...

yea i am in a good mood.

i just realised that in my previous post, the style of writing was more towards describing a blow by blow account on what i did yesterday also it was kinda full of errors...and the style of writing is not my style..i didnt try to colour it (both literally and not literally)..it was kinda bland..but ahhaha i guess it did serve the purpose of me putting my activities yesterday..before i forgot what i did yesterday..ahaha

today is friday...i kinda pickled myself at home for a the whole week last week..so i kinda got bored and today and yesterday was payback time..i mean..going out with friends and treating myself..splurging my $$ on food and stuff that i dont even need..ahaha :D on the money thing...saving is good..but being stingy is not! ahahah so i kinda labelled myself...more on being generous side!! ahahah life is more fun if you are generous and live life to the extent that you're taking risk as much as possible!..ahaha

and when i say risk...it doesnt mean losing life..or extreme stuff..
just stuff that you don't usually do normally...


i would love to elaborate but...nope..im kinda lazy to elaborate now..it wont do me any good..

basically my ramblings are things that zooms across my mind...so what you see now is exactly that!..things that zooms across my mind...

and now i am thinking of my appointment with the dentist tomorrow!...heheh im not scared of the dentist...since i was a kid i readily go to the nurse and have my teeth checked..it was worth it then..ahah...cos i have a good teeth ( i gotta tone down the self-bragging ahaha)..

now siting in coffee bean..ordered the same drink as i ordered yesterday. Pure Vanilla and have a slice of tiramisu cake..im not sure where i will have high tea meal..ahah either at home or at KFC..or sumwhere..ehehe but for now..im just fine licking the whipped cream off my vanilla drink..ahahah nyum nyum

i life coffee..but now im not in the mood of coffee...coffee is best during exams..eheh

but i wouldn't mind starbucks! ahahah

okay la..i gotta go...need to find ideas!

My day today :D

Nothing earth shaking..i just ran out of title to put..so i just put My Day Today!..

As far as the holiday is concerned I rarely wake up early...errr correction..I do wake up early, but after waking I continue to take a short nap of four to five hours..ehehe I usually wake up around 6 a.m ehehhe but after adding my nap time...i'll be WIDE awake around 10-11 a.m..just nice! ahaha

Well today...i woke up early and without any 'nap' time..ehehe the reason?

i had to go to see the dentist about my still unsurfaced lower wisdom tooth..i need consultation...arrived at the dental clinic around 7.00++ish..but the doctor and nurses and some clerks only arrived around 7.40ish..ehehe and i get to see the dentist around 8 sumthing..(hmm i wasnt paying attention to the time...my whole mouth HURTS..so ehehhe i had other things on my mind than the time. okay went to see the dentist...and after a few seconds of explaining wat the problem was..she checked my mouth and teeth..(oh..she commented that my teeth were in good condition and otherwise perfect!) eheheh the only problem was my wisdom teeth are giving a heck of pain! so she advised me to have it x-rayed (is there such a word as this?) at the main Hospital...which a good 10-15minutes drive from that dental clinic..i wasnt complaining..cos the doctor was nice..ehehe and the comment just made my day..(actually i asked her about it..ehehhe i always have suspicions that my teeth are perfect!) ehehe

went to the hospital then went to the radiology department. waited a few minutes and my name was called...and the x-ray machine operator was a kindly elderly guy...a few seconds of poking my head into the x-ray machine which revolves around my head, the guy then told me to sit down and wait for the x-ray film to be developed...waited a few minutes (it was really cold in that room) ehhehe...got my film then went to send my mum to her office..had 'nasi goreng ayam' for breakfast at my mum's office's canteen...my dad and mum ordered some fried mee, then i went back home with dad.

i felt kinda bored..so i asked my dad to send me to the Mall!..ehhehe just to get rid of the boredom..there i walked around the mall for around two hours then i met one of my best friend stephanie...we hung out at coffee bean, i ordered pure vanilla drink and a slice of chocolate cake. Stephanie had a pure chocolate drink..and a great news for steph..she told me that she was offered scholarship to do her Masters in any university in the UK..well she deserved it!..she got first class for her degree this year and her sponsors (a big oil company in the country which she has to work with for several years) decided that she's worth the investment! hahaha good eh?..jangan jealous..

okay...now she's having headache of which university she's going to go...she wanted to IMPERIAL university in London...because she wanted to go there and the course that she wanted to her masters is offered there...and its one the best universities in the World! ahahha...

after that her boyfriend, Ozzy came and we spent sometime chatting whilst steph busied herself trying to get into the university of her choice (emailing professors, calling departments of universities in the UK, chatting with friends about which uni is good or ...). Then Steph and her boyfriend suggested to go eat dinner at Ahan Thai, a local restaurant which specializes in Thai styled cooking...

around 5.00pm we started to leave Coffee Bean, then went to Rizqun International Hotel to look at the study@uk exhibition...there Steph went to look at several universities..but her heart is set for Imperial..

after an hour and a half of browsing through we started to make our way to Ahan thai...there we met with Sabrina...a friend of ours from college until now..eheh we ordered our food, i had fried seafood noodle and a normal sized watermelon juice..ehehe (if you ordered the extra large drinks..your belly is gonna burst..its huge!! but totally worth it at B$3) ehhehe steph and sabrina ordered buttermilk chicken..which was okay...not great but just okay. Ozzy ordered green curry chicken...which was extremely HOT!!! PEDAS!!...HOT!! ahaha ozzy was sweating buckets! but it was nice.. :D

then we went to Funbread..where we all had 3 slices of Vienesse Chocolate brownies..1 for me, 1 for sabrina then the couple shared their slice..ehehe

then we went to Steph's house...looked at old pictures of us from school (mine, sabrina's and stephy's)...ozzy wasn't in any of the albums cos he wasn't from our school/college..eheh :D

then i went HOME!!

sorry for the fragmented and probably monotonous description of my day...


oowh..in the midst of walking around the mall, i met rush (my ex-housemate)...ehehe its good to see her! hahah some friends - Ahmad, Amaniah and D.. :D eheh

i guess that's it...

Last Friday to be exact.. :D...

Back massage and Head + Shoulder massage...at this massage place in The Mall, Gadong

An hour session was around $25...good eh?

reason: my back and next was killing me...so i said..wat the hell! i might as well go get a massage...to get rid of the obvious kinks outta me! eheh

the masseuse (correct spelling?) ehehhe was kinda good..he had my bones cracking! ahahah and painful too! ahahha

but i was fixed! i managed to have a good sleep the night after..

maybe next time i'm gonna get a foot massage/reflexology :D

Blogging...? what is it about?

Hi, today i am just gonna talk about something general..such as the topic for today: BLOGGING? WHAT IS IT ABOUT?..ehhe

well, I don't really put up much research into the above topic...and I'm not gonna do a general survey about what are the contents of other bloggers' blogs..eheh Well, I can consider myself to be a new and novice blogger in this era of blogging-ing..ehehe hey I love it! That's why I open up this blog.

Okay, the purpose of me trying to talk about the above-mentioned topic is...

well in my opinion, blogging to me is to share what I do with my life...not all of it..but enough to highlight the exciting events in my life. That's it..however some other times I will try to lay my opinions/dissatisfactions or feelings that's surrounding me on that particular blogging day! eheheh

also blogging for me to try to keep in touch with my particular interest in writing...creative writing (ehhehe) no lah! I just like to write that's why...even though i might think my style of writing might be of amateur standard..but hey! it's what i love doing it!

From my not so extensive blog-hopping...they are quite a lot of talented bloggers who are very/quite dedicated to their blogs...some are even famous...Do i want to be a famous blogger? Not really! ehehehe...No reason for it. :D

i've hanging out at home. hanging out with my bestfriends. going out and eat...and the other day i tried softball..ehehe it was interesting and i might play again..eheh :D

i wanna make this quick real quick..so quick that...ughh..i dont know..

first of all im really-really really!!! sorry for the unannounced hiatus..its a long one! and im quite 'not pleased' with myself..oh well...what can i do?..ehehe

i wana apologize for being absent for almost a month! i miss blogging and its good to be back..but i am not sure when i will be online again..but for sure when that occurs, i will be updating like there is no tomorrow! ehehe

with pictures and stuff that i've been doing over the summer holidays! eheh

for now its enuff to know that this blog is not dead! ehehhe
