late night show at home

what do we do when we're bored? and when we know we're not bogged down with work? when we know it'll be the only day that we can have fun? when we know next week week we will be stressed again with work and revision? and by we i mean my housemates and i..ehhehe

we watched downloaded movies on one of our laptops hehehe yea..we don't have proper equipment to watch it on tv...we did buy a tv but we don't have dvd or cd players...or the right cable to attach it to the tv...so the tv is just there for us to play games..playstations. and then we can't even watch channels..cos we haven't subscribed to them hahha the torture of not at home..real home..but it'll be just a month more..then i'll be home for a whole 3 months ahahahah

the night kicked off with us celebrating mai's bday...it was a modest party...rush cooked pasta..it was yummy! i helped too..in some ways eheh waited for mai to arrive from the train station..surprised her and sang her bday songs once she entered the living room...let her cut her modest cake..eheh and then we began to eat dinner together..eheh its been a long time we never ate together..the 7 of us..it was nice ehhehe and then the girls and us guys watched a chick flick 'John tucker must die' a nice movie..eheheh and then we chatted for a while and then cleaned up..then chatted sumore..then we watched 'Initial D' the movie....so all in all it was indeed a late night show..

speaking of late night shows..i've been very addicted to Akademi Fantasia..i was just surprised that im more into it than i was back at home..eheheh oh yea...i think the reason why is that its the closest thing to a local tv show..heheh yea i guess thats the reason...and that leads me to think that this saying is true and always true..now i hold it truer even more...ahahah you don't realise what you have until you've lost it...or sumthing along that line...living overseas made you think about stuff that you used to do back home that you really can't do here...like driving..like going to the movies..like you can eat at any restaurants without fearing or worrying about the halal-ness of our food...that sort of things..especially missing the ones we cared - parents, family and some friends that we left home..sigh ahah but yea..homesickness is the feeling i'm haunted with now ahhaa
